~Shaw's Update: We have been informed that Shaw's SuperMarket has decided to remain and rebuild after the July Flooding Event. Per new information given to us, it appears that Shaw's is hoping to Re-open late June - early July 2024
 
However, If you plan on coming & visiting us here in Ludlow or live in Ludlow, please note that we recommend that you click on the Shaw's On-Line Link below- register and choose the Ludlow Store location. You can order your groceries the day before you need them and will be able to choose the delivery or pick up time. (Keep in mind that the delivery or pick up times may end at a certain time of the night (ie 7 pm) so be sure to check out this link in advance).
If you choose to pick up your order, be aware that pick up is located in the same Shaw's Plaza but you will go to the former Rite Aid Pharmacy Door. The Town of Ludlow, in conjunction with Shaw's Supermarket, is hoping that this link will make your stay in Ludlow more enjoyable.
 
 
For your convenience, there are a few mini-marts in town that you may find some of your grocery needs.

ROAD CLOSURE - Pleasant Street by Mill Street Bridge

CLOSED for the SUMMER

The State of Vermont will be repairing the Mill Street Bridge to create a pedestrian bridge. Effective Tuesday, April 9, 2024, you will not be able to access Pleasant Street Ext. from the Pleasant Street side. During this construction process, you will ONLY be able to access/exit Pleasant Street Ext. via Route 103 South by the Wastewater Treatment Facility.

Spring 2024 Water Flushing Notice

Our Village of Ludlow Water Department will be flushing the hydrants:

During the week of April 22 - 26, 2024

from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. each day.

If you experience discolored or murky water, please run your water until it runs clear. Keep in mind that your water is NOT metered and running your water will NOT increase your semi-annual bill.

IMPORTANT: The Ludlow Transfer Station will not accept Bamboo.  This is considered an invasive plant that will spread quickly, so the Transfer Station is unable to accept it.
